After Taijul Islam's double blows on the first morning of the Chattogram Test disturbed the visitors' strong start, India briefly recovered with to Rishabh Pant's counterattacking 29*.

India had no qualms about choosing to bat first on a pitch that was conducive to batting. India's fourth opening duo in the previous six Tests, stand-in skipper KL Rahul and Shubman Gill, seemed completely at ease. India began with a flip from Rahul down to the fine leg fence, and for the majority of the first hour, both batters had little trouble getting boundaries. Before Taijul started with a maiden, the first in eight overs since the morning, Bangladesh made a few early adjustments.

The scores soon began to dry up with Bangladesh fixing their early mistakes and bowling progressively tighter lines. And the hosts received wickets in abundance as a result. Gill failed in an attempt to execute a deliberate paddle sweep against Taijul and returned furious with himself for having wasted a promising beginning. Similar to Rahul, Khaled Ahmed had tempted him in with good breadth before Rahul dragged an inside edge onto his stumps.

Then, Taijul managed to get one to quickly spin, startling Virat Kohli and trapping him directly in front. After extensive discussion with the non-striker, the former India captain reviewed, but to no avail. India had dropped from a very secure 41 without loss to 48 for 3 after six overs.

When Pant came in at No. 5, the Indian wicketkeeper-bat, in typical fashion, attacked the spinner for a total of 21 runs in the span of 16 deliveries, leading India to lunch at 85 for 3.

Cricket betting: The importance of having a good Budget

How much money do you have to spend on cricket wagers? The truth is that you're probably going to lose every penny you put into your initial wagers. You will experience losses until you become accustomed to putting bets. Furthermore, you don't want to lose money as a result of a poor wager. Thus, this is how you can safeguard yourself:

Decide how much you are willing to lose financially: Is it $50? $500? $5,000? You cannot use the money for your mortgage or rent, utilities, or other necessities, or take money out of your savings account; it must be money you don't need. How much does it cost? It must be money you can spend and then forget.

Fill up your betting account with this cash; if you win, you can add your winnings to it; however, if you lose, you cannot make up the difference with funds from your checking or savings account.

Treat this budget with care; resist the want to chase losses, no matter how strong the urge may be.
